This is too general a question to answer here because it depends on the nature of the product.  A full answer covering a range of product sectors would require several books :)

If you are able to tell us the product I am sure we can come up with some ideas.

I see that this a competitive market so it is necessary to perform the initial stage of competitor and issues analysis particularly thoroughly.

Competitor Analysis:

1. Identify all your competitors and create a file of information on them.

2. Summarize their products including such things as functionality, quality, customer service, promotional strategies and price.

3. Identify their relative strengths and weaknesses (that is from the customers viewpoint not yours).

4. Look at the market to see if there are plenty of customers for all the market players and quantify.

Issues Analysis:

1. Is the market for the product growing.

2. What changes in technology will impact your product.

3. How will competitors product enhancements affect you.

4. Are the barriers to market entry high or low.

Once you have performed this analysis you can identify your company's competitive advantage i.e. the reasons why customers will do business with you instead of your competitors.

After this analysis your next step is to consider how best to communicate your competitive advantage to win customers.

Then and only then can you determine the best strategy for launching your product.

Does that help?

Thank you I appreciate the sentiment but 500 points is the maximum allowed per question as per the maximum point rule http://www.experts-exchange.com/help.jsp#hi50 so you had better request a deletion of /Web/Online_Marketing/Q_21328741.html before you get into trouble :)
