I am trying to set a table cell like this.

      public class SpacerCell:TableCell
      {
            public SpacerCell()
            {
                  this.Width = Unit.Pixel(2);
                  this.Height = Unit.Pixel(25);
                  this.BackColor = Color.White;
                  this.BorderWidth = Unit.Pixel(0);
            }
      }

Although i set the width to 2, it apprears wider than going to an aspx page and setting
<td widht="2" height="25" ......

there is a visible difference.

Any ideas.

Should not be none.. why don't you verify the html generated code by the aspx?
maybe there is a inherited css?

that is in IE, use menu View->source and look at the generated HTML
