Starting to dabble with routing on a 3550.  We typically use eigrp.

When I went to turn on eigrp, tho, got the following sequence:

LAN_A_S1(config)#router ?
  bgp       Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
  egp       Exterior Gateway Protocol (EGP)
eigrp     Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)
igrp      Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (IGRP)
  isis      ISO IS-IS
  iso-igrp  IGRP for OSI networks
  mobile    Mobile routes
  odr       On Demand stub Routes
ospf      Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
  rip       Routing Information Protocol (RIP)
  static    Static routes

LAN_A_S1(config)#router eig
LAN_A_S1(config)#router eigrp 100
Unknown routing protocol
LAN_A_S1(config)#router eigrp 1
Unknown routing protocol

Have I been 'cisco-ed' and gotta go buy yet another something else?  Or am I missing something obvious?

Works on mine:
C3550#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
C3550(config)#router eigrp 100
C3550(config-router)#network 192.168.122.0
C3550(config-router)#

I have the Enhanced Multilayer Image, you probably have the Standard Multilayer Image.
EIGRP is only supported in the EMI
