When I open the 'Date and Time Properties' control panel applet, only 3 time zones appear in the Time Zones tab drop down: "(GMT -7:00) Mountain Time", "(GMT -5:00) Eastern Time" and "(GMT -5:00) Indiana". In addition, the time zone map is only displaying two slices of the world map (looks like a slice of the west coast and a slice of the east coast).
A search revealed there are 4 timedate.cpl files on my computer in the following locations: windows\system32, windows\ServicePackFiles\i386, Windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$, i386.
I've tried running each of those files. They all display only 3 time zones.
I've moved out of the eastern time zone, so I need to change my computer settings. Plus, I synchronize a Palm on my computer and believe I'm duplicating calendar items as a result of the time zone variance between my palm and my computer.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on how I can "find" the missing time zones in my Date and Time Properties control panel!
