Adding a Headline News to Web Page?

A couple months ago, I tried to add a Headline News Service to my website.  In other words, when users would visit my website, they would see news headlines.

I tried to use Yahoo's RSS news feed, so I obtained the code for that from Yahoo.  The instructions said that I needed to use a news aggregator to have the web page automatically update the news headlines.   I obtained a news aggregator from CGI Resource Index. After installing the Perl based News Aggregator I found out that I needed a paid version to use it for RSS news feeds.  The free version, only allowed me to update my webpage manually.

However, I am looking for a free option.  My site barely earns enough to exist.  Also, I don't want a News Service that has too many advertisements or where users will have to install an obscure program for it to work.  Finally, I don't want to program this from the bottom up, because I think I can find a ready built game. I just can't find it yet...

Where can I get this?  Please let me know.  Thank you.

Here's a good one: www.send2press.com/newsfeed.shtml.  I have a client who used their "All Entertainment News" feed but they have General News and other categories.

Others I don't know much about:
http://freenewsfeed.newsfactor.com
www.worldpress.org/feeds

I hope this helps.
