I used third party component to have a dropdowncombo in my grid (combo which displays records from another table).
Everything works nice except I can not log the deletion of the entire record
because of this field. In access database this field is a text field.
So when I log record deletion I get data mismatch (Expected wide string...)
But in access I can not ( i do not know) have/convert this field to wide string stype....what to do ??
I tried everything (changed field types in access) but still I get various errors...
Suggestions??

Is this drop down combo holding values from Table2 that are referenced from a single field in Table1? i.e. you can change/select a different value from Table2 that you can save to Table1.

How are you trying to delete your record, and from what table?
