I have a UserControl that has a number of public properties.  When I view the public properties in my properties window, there is no description.  How do I add a description?

In VB 6.0, I used the following:
<Browsable(True), Description("This description appears in the properties window for my custom property."), DefaultValue(False)> _

Is there a VB.NET equivalent?

I think this series of technical articles will lead you in the right direction.  It's likely you need to use an ATTRIBUTE to set the description for your control.

See if this information doesn't provide exactly what y ou want.  If not, look up more information on Attributes.
