Wordpad -- Chinese language

I have trouble saving some Chinese web page -- I could not copy or save them as html files. I could save them as txt files (using wordpad). However, I am unable to read them as I discovered that wordpad do not have the fonts for Chinese characters. May I know whether there are any way to enable me to read the Chinese characters saved as txt files in wordpad?
