How to write a Events Calendar with ASP or ASP.net?

Hi all,

I am newbie on ASP programming, now I want to make a web project, it is a Events Calendar, just need show the Calendar, and let permissioned user login, then let him click a day to add or edit or del a Events, later back to the interface, the Events Calendar will show a title under the day in the Events Calendar.

How to do it? And anyone know where can find a open source code write by ASP or ASP.net like this for a beginner reference.
