Windows 2000 server group policy problem

I am running Windows 2000 Server with AD and DNS running.  I setup a group policy to hide the C: and remove the control panel from users start menu.  The group policy works for some but not all users?  why would this happen?

The policies could be filtered but I bet this is all related with your last question and the FRS errors you are receiving.

Some good tips for GP troubleshooting

Here is a better example of the problem I am having:

I logon Computer01 with my username and the GP works great
I logon Computer02 with my username and the GP does not work

????
Did you recently change this setting?  If so you may want to use secedit to update the policy

on computer01 go to the command line and type set l

do the same on computer02

Are they both using the same DC?

Thanks
Mike
I tried the SET L on a few computers in the office and a bunch of them are different.  We have 3 servers total one for each location connected by T1 lines.  I am having a lot of trouble correcting the FRS problem.  do you think that is what is causing this problem?
Yes I think FRS could be the issue

The file portion of the group policy—the group policy template (GPT)—consists of a combination of directories and files and replicates with FRS

Thanks
Mike
I am having the same problem with usernames too.  2 different users in the same GP both logon Computer01.

User01 GP works
User02 GP does not work
