Dear expertsexchange,
We are running Windows SBS 2003 with SP1 on exchange server. Currently when sending emails internally throughout our organization the display name of "john doe" shows up in the from field, but our problem is that whenever we send an email to any other organization outside of our network (say username@yahoo.com)... instead of the user's full name showing up "John Doe" , it showd the person's email address instead of the display name. Is there any known way to get around this? Thanks in advance!

Check in ESM.

Global Settings, Internet Message Format. Right click on the Default and choose Properties. Click on the Advanced tab and make sure that "Preserve senders display name on message" is enabled.
