does anyone know how to install a JustLink CD-RW face plate

I have some new CD-RW face plates made by JustLink. There are two pieces. I thought the piece that is the door would be attatched to the other part thus creating a swinging hinge which would open when the rom pops open. What I have in hand and looking at seems not to have a hinge and I can not see how it would work.
Has anyone installed these?

Some of these faceplates have an adhesive strip to attach to the sliding drawer, so no hinge would be needed.

There is a piece of tape holding the two pieces together but  it is not a two sided adhesive strip.
there is a small groove on the "door" so maybe it snaps or fits on the end of the rom in some way.
I have about 10 of these and wanted to put them on Ebay and it looked like something was missing.
