Get Windows uptime
How can I get the uptime from a Windows 2000 server without installing extra utilities?
A decent free utility is

You could try the NET command.
Click the start menu, go to run and type
CMD
When the command prompt box appears, type
NET STATISTICS SERVER
At the top of the report it makes (You may have to scroll up) the date and time the system was powered up will be displayed.

WITHOUT getting the uptime.exe from here:
Uptime Reliability and Availability Information Tool

you can get the system uptime by opening 'Network and Dial-up Connections'
and double clicking your connection.
under the 'connection' area you will see 'duration'
