I was messing with TcpClient class just to practice on simple ftp command, the program I created generates thumbnails from the big images and uploads them to server along with big ones, but when I try to specify a path from "folder browser" I get this message http://www.frozendev.com/thumbnailer.jpg, after few clicks on a "Continue" button it works fine.

any ideas...?

the whole project can be also downloaded from http://www.frozendev.com/temp/thumbnailer.zip

I forgot to mention that this error is generated only if I select a "G:\" drive which is where my digital camera is plugged

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

I can set the root directory to say... My Documents or My Pictures (it is set to desktop), but than there will be no other folder like my G:\  or C:\ drive and as I mentioned I need to be able to access my digital camera, maybe there is some other ways that VB.NET can do, I was thinking if it would be possible if I could access an USB driver where my camera is plugged...

So are you passing the path of your removable drive that is created by your camera's usb plug?

I don't think I'm getting you... did you try to run the actual app? I uploaded it to my website and posted a link to it
