I have look at the user group in Dallas, Tx. I have mcp and cisoc background.
I has interview buy company in Dallas Tx. They have  ask for linux 3 to 4 year
I told them that it was been 3 year since I have used it. so know I am going backinto it.

RedHat Enterprise Linux  2.1 is based on RedHat 7.2 and
RedHat Enterprise Linux 3.0 is based on RedHat 9 and
RHEL 4.0 (just come out) is based on Fedora Core 3.
Most of companies might ask for RHEL instead of RedHat free version. But it should be ok if you know RedHat 7.2 and RedHat 9 well since the configuration files, system
admininstration tools are the same between free version and commerical ones (of course, there are some difference.)

Sometimes it depends on the interviewer, you might need to answer most of critical technical questions.

Good luck,

Wesly

It depends on the companies. RedHat 7.x/9 or RHEL 3.0 are most popular in USA.
