Some potential security bugs were fixed in the 121-20.EA1a

There are no major changes and I doubt that you would benefit at all from upgrading. If you upgrade all the way to the latest and greatest 121-22EA3, there is a slew of new features and a whole new GUI

well i just got ahold of c2950-i6q4l2-mz.121-22.EA2.tar IOS.. (it has the .bin file in the compressed .tar) it also came with a lot of java script stuff in the folder...am i supposed to load the java script files onto the flash as well??

(if you would like.. i can send you a copy of the .tar file if you would like to take a look at it.)

If you have the .tar file, you should use the web GUI to upgrade the IOS. It will put all the files where they need to be.
Else, use the 5-step procedure in the link above for 121.22EA3 for CLI
If you use the archive command, all the files are put where they are supposed to be with one command.
Don't uncompress the .tar file at all, just use the archive command and point it to the .tar file

well... i got the Network Assistant from Cisco... I tried to upgrade but it says i don't have enough free space in flash for the upgrade.... Now if i erase the flash will the network assistant still connect to the switch although it would boot in rommon mode?? I currently have an 8 meg flash. The image is only 4.6 megs
