Goldmine crm - unable to attach to existing database

Hello

I'm performing a goldmine crm install,  when I try to open database dialog the attach button is disabled, so I cannot open an existing database.   I'm installing the app as a single user, not server install.  The question is why the attach button is disabled and how do can I get it enabled.

First off, let me know if you have master rights,
Can you go to File-->Configure--User Settings?

I do not have a user settings option in the file -> configure menu.  'user setting' option would be available in a server install?

If you had that option in the menu I'd know you have Master rights to the database.  Since you don't have that option I know you don't have these rights which are required for the 'Attach Button' to appear regardless of where it is being installed.

The attach button will instantly appear when you log in with a username that has Master rights to the database.  The default Master login and password is master\access.  Have you tried this?

I haven't yet, will do today.  The user will be happy this is fixed.
