Contribute updates remote folder, I update Local Root Folder

I am about to give Contribute 3 to someone here at work.
The problem I have is that if she updates a page, she is updating the remote site.
But when I go into Dreamweaver and double click on the page, I am pulling up my (old) local root folder copy.

Right...it's probably because when you go and double click the copy, you are opening your local copy on your hard drive.  What you'll need to do is before you open a page she has edited it "get" it from the server, using the small arrow icon (blue arrow pointing down?  don't have it in front of me to remember) right above the file and folder listing in the site pane...

You are absolutely correct.  I need to get the file first before double clicking on it.
Hmmm....
That's odd.
When I click on the little green down arrow, it says:
"Get operation failed since Index.htm does not exist on the remote site".
But I can say "Locate in Remote site" and there it is.

That is odd...is it exactly the same spl, including extension and cases?  Does it have the "locked" icon next to it indicating it is checked out?

CoolATIGuy,

I've closed this one out because you answered my initial question.
Thanks!
I'll be careful to bring down the remote site before making any changes from now on.
