Corrupted Outlook 2000 Calendar/Contacts Default Folders
We used to have Exchange as our email server, then we switched to Scalix. When we were moving items to the new email server, we had 2 mailboxes in the same Outlook 2000 interface. So we just dragged and dropped.
Somehow now we have 2 Calendar folders and 2 Contacts folders. Moreover, the one of the Calendar and Contacts folders could only act as a mail item container. Those folders have the same icon as the Inbox container. If I right-click the folders (Calendar and Contacts with the mail item icon), I couldn't get the Delete option. So I'm assuming those are the Default folders.
Also, now when I accept a meeting invite, the appointment is created in the Calendar that has the mail item icon (Default folder). I'd have to dragged the new-created item, then it'll be posted in the other Calendar appropriately.
Fortunately this is not happening to all of us, just one or two. My guess is to save the entire corrupted mailboxes to a PST file, delete them entirely from the email server, re-create the mailboxes and start filling up the new mailbox with the PST file.
So my questions are:
1. What options do I have to automatically move new-created appointments in the corrupted default Calendar to the other Calendar? Rules Wizard didn't seems to work.
2. Did I guess correctly? The only way to fix this problem is I'd have re-create the corrupted mailboxes.
Thanks

I think your guess is right. You will have to re-create the corrupted mailboxes.
