Hi. I'm trying to create a deployment project in visiual studio.

When i go to build the project an installer appears saying that it has to configure vs.net.

Near the end of this installer a messagebox appears saying :

'Error 1706. No valid source control can be found for product Visual Studio .Net Enterprise Architecht - English The Windows installer cannot continue.'

Any ideas???

1. Put the .NET architect disc 1 into the PC's hard drive.
2. Run your build script.
3. When it creates the msm it will install some files from the CD
4. After that it will install the missing files and should not ask you again.
