Make sure the application for the project type (.vip) is installed. error when opening an interdev project with .NET IDE

When I try to open an InterDev 6 project with the .NET IDE I get the following error,
The application for project 'C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\Visual Studio Projects\NetUpgradeTest\NetUpgradeTest.vip' is not installed.

Make sure the application for the project type (.vip) is installed.

How can I fix this or what is the problem. or is there another way to open interdev (asp) projects in the .NET(aspx) IDE with out upgrading it to aspx pages?

You can't open Visual Interdev in the VS.NET IDE. Either keep using Visual Interdev or create a new web application project in VS.Net and move the files under it.
