I recently bought a new shop and  want to run a gaming zone on it, I also bought  20 new PC's and they're all AMD Athlon 2800+ along with 512MB Ram and ATI 9600XT, So my question is how can i create the main server to run this gaming zone means, which operating system should i use? Does any specific software should i use to manage these PC's or Games?  i want to run only three games in my gaming zone such as "NFS Underground 2, Counter Strike, Doom3" i don't suppose to opne a big gaming zone it's just for fun. So please guide me, how to make it up in an error free enviroment. i'm looking forward to solid suggestion and greatly appreciate to your help. Thanks

Your going to be better off with a Microsoft OS on this one prefereably Server 2003. Linux can run a slower system better with less resources but with the setup complexity of a linux system and the hardware you have.. Go for the Windows OS.

It depends alot on the games though. If your plan on an assortment. For sure go with MS.

You need alot of Ram, go with no less than 1GB, preferable 2GB Also if you have a Dual Opteron that would be best. The Vid Card won't make as much diffrence on the Server however, since most Server Side Game programs are going command line, but a good Card won't hurt.

If your only going to do this on a LAN, it's pretty simple. If your going to Server up something on the Internet you better have a good Connect.
