ooopppsss, i have develope a program that print the Braille Word by the Braille Printer (Embosser). But now, i have a problem.
As usual, for ex, if a printer can print only 20 character in a line, but we wanna print a sentence has 40 char, it will automatically print in 2 lines, rite ?? (this is the normal printer)
Now, with the Embosser (the Braille printer), it's not like that. It just can print ONLY 1 line, and can't print the rest of the sentence in the 2nd line. What happen??
Now, how can I solve this problem ??? The Embosser i work with is the Braille Express 100 or 150. www.brailler.com
Please help me, thanks alot alot alot

Hi,

... as page layout is controlled from WinBraille software only, there's not much that could be done ... but anyhow, you may look deeply at it and if you find this somewhere -> *14 ^N <- just take it of ... as it is a double with (for 1 line only!) ...

Best regards,

Hi,

It's really hard to advice on a Braille Printer ... you may read this article: http://www.afb.org/aw/aw030602.asp that is about an evaluation of two Braille Printers <- shows many difficulties also with documentations.

If you don't know about it yet, there's a PDF document at http://www.brailler.com/ftp/brlx.pdf about setting up Braille Express 100/150 (in case you can not use Acrobat Reader, there's a text version of it that can be found at http://www.brailler.com/ftp/brlx.txt) ... there's also a large Frequently Asked Question section at the end of the document ...

Best regards,
Raisor
