webmail access

Hi,

I would like to know the easist way to give webmail access to a few people.
We have domino 4.67 an used to use odpost an imap solution to get the mail, but found this unreliable and slow.
We are also running a server running 5.0.11 and wondered if we could use inotes on this but somehow sync the mail on the 4.67 server?

any pointers would be apreciated

Regards
James

thanks for the info. Moved on since then. have now got inotes setup on the r5 and replicating with the db on the 4.6. mailjump looks like just the kidde but it must be doing a lookup on the address book and sending it to the 4.6 mail file rather than the inotes replica on the r5. Is there anyway i can force this to a specfic server rather than domain.

thanks for all your help

did u tried configuring the db correctly?

Where are your Mail db's? On 4.6?
What R5 is doing in between? Where is replicating happening and between which servers? iNotes is from 5.08. So, I assume your mail db's are on 5.08 and above. So, you are using iNotes for some of the users.
Then use mailjump.nsf to redirect to there mail file (iNotes in this case). This should be simple, if I a not wrong.

Hi,

the 4.6 mail files are on abc the inotes is xyz. we are replicating docs only between abc and xyz. it all works well.
Mailjump however only gives you the option of settting up the domain and then looks in the person document in the gloabl address book for the home server. as there home serve is abc it is sending them there what i want to do is send it to xyz
