1- from (http://homepages.borland.com/efg2lab/Library/Delphi/IO/Directories.htm) i downloaded (http://delphi.icm.edu.pl/ftp/d20free/dirmon.zip)

2- and read this article http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=7376.

if i put in path (\\172.16.5.1\it\test) in 1 example it does not show anything. in 2 it fires events but all the time it thinks that a file was added even if i deleted it .

any suggestions.
Thanks in advanced.

There is componenet in MadCollection that is used to monitor ativities in a shered folder, it should fix all your problems. The compoinent is free for non comercial use, and chip for comercial use.

Have a look here: http://help.madshi.net/ShellEvents.htm
