The default window station name for the logged on user is 'WinSta0' with the desktop 'default'. See e.g. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;171890 ("INFO: Services, Desktops, and Window Stations") and http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/dllproc/base/window_station_and_desktop_creation.asp ("Window Station and Desktop Creation"):

"The system automatically creates the interactive window station. When an interactive user logs on, the system associates the interactive window station with the user logon session. The system also creates the default input desktop for the interactive window station (Winsta0\default). Processes started by the logged-on user are associated with the Winsta0\default desktop."

That's what I thought, but I can't get my code to work right. Must be user error. :-)
