Final Cut Pro : What is the easiest and best way to rip/capture DVD for editing using my powerbook?
I have a new client coming in tomorrow and i still have not found any good way of ripping / capturing DVD.
He is bringing in a DVD made by some client of his having old home movies on it and i have to capture the contents of that DVD in as good of quality as possible and throw it into FCP to start chopping it up into clips for editing, while he is sitting right there with me, so i will have to look like i know what i am doing.
Please help me out.
Is there a way to do this without purchasing additional software?
Please supply any usefull hints to help out with the process and make me look like a stud!
points will be awarded according to the effectiveness of your advice and the simplicity with which you can explain it to me (consider that i do not know anything about what you are teaching)
