Hi Experts

My event log is filling up the an error message like the one below. The Event IDs that keep on appearing are 1030 and 1058.

I have followed the help provided in windows: going to the registry and enabling DFS and also ensuring the security settings are correct.

However it doesnt seem to have helped at all.

Can anyone please help? It looks like a serious error and i could really do with not having this problem at the moment.

I have spoken to MS Support and it turns out that a hotfix is not required as kindly described in your post.

It was apparently a Network Error which was resolved by disabling 2 services: IIS and Remote Access, then restarting the server.

Now its all up and running!!!

Strange but it works and hey thats all it needed.

Now, what do you say about the points - is it OK if i drop the points - if so how many would you like?

Thanks

Is that the solution? In case if you need these two services in future then what will happen?

Yes thats what i thought as well when they told me that, however it was the configuration that was causing this problem. I have re-configured it for now and it seems to work OK, hopefully it lasts, or i'll be back here again.

Im posting a request to community support to request a refund.

Thanks
