A co-worker uses MS Access 2000 and is unable to import text files in a database.  The wizard never inititates.  It is necessary to first import into MS Access 97 and then from 97 to 2000.

Hi mbilicic,

One reason for this behavior is if the Import Text Wizard was never installed as part of the Office/Access 2000 installation.  If you have access to these CD's, go find them and update the installation, checking every Access wizard available.

This assumes that the application is the same from 97/2000, and the imported file is the same...

Hope this helps.
