security/permissions problems

Okay, this is a pretty stupid situation, but i got myself into it.
Anyway, i was setting security permissions on a folder, that i didnt want anybody to beable to access, but myself.  Well i went to change the permissions on the EVERYONE category and i clicked deny all and then apply by mistake.   Needless to say, i cannot access my folder despite the fact that i am my own system administrator.   I have tried adding permissions for myself, but it never lets me apply the changes. Thank you

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
