Can someone please tell me how to configure my iLo card and successfully connect to it from my desktop computer? I hit F8 as my server was booting up and changed the name to match the server name, let it pull an IP from DHCP, but when I try to connect to it by name I cannot? I was trying to connect through my browser. Do I have to use whatever IP it pulled and not the name?

Hi!!
Are you able to connect to it using the IP?
If yes then,
(1) Change the name so that is not the same as that of the server
(2) Simply create a host record in the DNS with wahtever name you created & corresponding IP address

Pls let me know if the above info is of any help.
