smart serial/v35 dte cable to dce/ethernet

dear sir
i have a cisco cable smart serial / v35 dte
i want to convert it to ethernet
can i do this  ?
if no , what can i do to get a connection from cisco 800 series with 2 interfaces ( smart serial / ethernet ) between 2 computers , one is plugged to the router's ethernet , and one is plugged to the smart serial ethernet ,

It is not possible with V35 cable as it is syncronous interface and PC have RS232 (asyncronous)
You should use RS232 cable for your router (800 series have both sync/async interface) but it will be pain in the back :)
Better get second router and 2 x V35 cables  (DTE and DCE)

Also, you can use converter V35 to RS232 but Cisco RS232 cable will be cheaper ...

Aaah I see you wish to plug your PC's Ethernet into Cisco's smart serial ?

so .
what should i do ,
i have this router , i want to put it on the network and use it ,
how can i use both interfaces ,
i have two cables ,
-smart serial / dte v35
-smart serial / cab SS-x21MT

what is the idea or any hardware i should put between the smart serial and the computer

Smart serial interface is not for the connection to PC!
You can connect it to the modem, multiplexer or another router but not to the PC
Only way to connect Smart Serial interface to PC is to use RS232 cable but as I told it will be headache!

ok ,
now i understand ,
i have another router cisco 1600 series ,
2 ethernet interfaces , 1 aui and one place to install an additional interface
what interface should i buy to connect the router 805 smart serial to the cisco 1600 ?

you should buy WIC1-T interface card for your 1600 series router and V.35 DCE cable
Then you have to configure both of your router - thats it.
