REP-62204: Internal error writing the image BandCombine: a row of the matrix does not have the correct number of entries
Hi,
I am running Oracle DB and Developer suite 10g on a windows machine. I have built a report and it runs fine within reports builder and will send to the printer using the distribute settings, although it prints off the page, it is landscape, i swapped the size dimensions over in the header, main and trailer sections as my report needs landscape orientation (this is what i followed in the help files on orientation) and I have also tried to change it to landscape in the FILE...Page Setup. (although every time i do file setup it is always defaulted to portrait)
Basically the problem is that it is printing in landscape but the report data looks as if it is still cutting off as if it was porttrait size, and so it is only printing half the report. And when I try to generate to file or email, there is an Internal error. (Note, I have had it working generating to pdf and mail before this)
The error message i get in reports is:
REP-0069: Internal error
REP-57054: In-process job terminated: Terminated with error
REP-536870981: Internal error
REP-62204: Internal error writing the image BandCombine: a row of the matrix does not have the correct number of entries, should be OpImage.getExpandedNumBand s(source0. getSampleM ode(), source0.get --THEN ERROR MESSAGE GOES OFF PAGE, continues with...
REP-0069: Internal error
REP-0002: Unable to retrieve a string from the Report Builder message file.
REP-536870981:
I'd really appreciate any suggestions, as I find working with reports so hit and miss - i usually save new versions every time i change something as I am not aware of how you can preserve your layout when you invoke the report wizard to change something, or when something goes wrong I always seem to have to start again as its not easy to go back?
I have now got it printing ok on landscape and the margins look better but still no file output
Can someone help?

Yes, you have very carefull to create a new registry value.
Be very carefull. Registry errors are very nasty.
Try to backup the registry settings before this.

ok, i will luckily stick to my now working version with the jpg (isnt it always somthing so trivial as the company logo!) and leave the registry for another time.
thanks very much for your help - i find reports very tricky!

do you mean create a new registry value manually for the above as i cant see the keys already there?
