WinRAR right click extension problem

Hi, when I right click an archive or right click drag it to a folder, there are supposed to be a few options, "extract to... ", "extract here", "extract to folder" etc but nothing appears apart from the following

- Add to archive
- Add to filename.rar
- Compress & E-Mail
- Compress to filename.rar & E-Mail

In the settings menu in the WinRAR, under Integration and Context Menu Items, I have all the appropriate tickboxes ticked.  I have unticked and closed the programs, tried again and the context menus have disappeared as select.  If I go back, reselect the options, then as before, only the above appear.  I was using my registered version of 3.00 so I downloaded the latest trial version, 3.42 and still no luck.

Any ideas?

The items you see are the correct items for uncompressed files. If you right click a compressed archive, you should get 3 extract options. Are you sure you are clicking a rar archive? What do you see if you right click a .zip archive (you should get the 3 extract options)?

After seeing the right click menu while right clicking on a RAR file, I then tried different ZIP files and now the menu magically appears... Very strange!!!

I see the "extract" menu items both on rar and zip files. But I don't remember if I started seeing them only after rightclicking a rar file :-). Anyway is this solved now (that is if you reboot and right-click a zip, you still get the extract options?)
