event id 3001 and 1008

I have been having some trouble with the apple mac protocol in 2000 sbs so I have removed the protocol completely but still get these error messages in event viewer.

Any ideas

Did you add any counter for this service in Performance monitor?

No I added it again and the service for macintosh through add/remove programs and no more events were reported
