I've an application (XML Web Service) in VB.NET - it loads XML files generated by a Palm device.

It reads the file the following way:

filestreamSource = New System.IO.FileStream(MyTempPath, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read)
MyReader = New XmlTextReader(filestreamSource)
MyDataSet1.ReadXml(MyReader)
MyReader.Close()
filestreamSource.Close()

This works fine most of the times - but with a specific user I'm getting an error when trying to load the XML file....

When I try to open the file with Internet Explorer I get the following error:

"The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Missing equals sign between attribute and attribute value. Error processing resource 'file ...."

*****************

Here you can find the file with the error:
http://www.luismiguelgoncalves.com/debug/witherror.xml

And here a file with the same format (different data) that works fine without any problem:
http://www.luismiguelgoncalves.com/debug/withouterror.xml

Can you please make me understand what's causing the error?

Thanks and regards.
Miguel

You must escape the < as < or enclose content inside a CDATA Section like so:
