I'm trying to develop simple rdf report by taking parameters from a jsp page.So I've a report server 9i and an Application Server 10g running. I can create the rdf report using report builder, but now I want to generate report dynamically according to user input from jsp page. How do i go about in doing this ?

Generate a URL in your JSP (syntax below) and pump it out to a browser window...

This link should help you do that:http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/javatips/jw-javatip66.html

http://servername:7778/reports/rwservlet?report=d:\reportlocation\reportname.rdf&USERID=user/pword@db&DESTYPE=CACHE&DESFORMAT=PDF&P_1=X&P_2=X

replace...
reportlocation
reportname
user
pword
db
...as appropriate

P_1 & P_2 are two parameters.

In Report Builder, use Tools > Parameter Form Builder to specify the parameters, which you can then reference in the Data Model for the Report.
