asked on

which ftp program can do this...?

Hi,
I have now ws_ftp 9 which is a good ftp-program which has however one disadvantage.3
When I start a HUGE dowload (4-5 GB), and the download stops, you allways have to click "resume" before it resumes.
Since I do those huge downloads in the weekend when I'm not at home, I can't click on resume when it stops (and my connection is rather unreliable, so it happens often that a download stops...), and when I return the monday, it happens often that I see that the download stopped about 10 minutes after I left friday.

So, my question:
Is there a (if possible, cheap) ftp client which is able to resume downloads without asking for a confirmation ??

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your replie, but the problem is that flashget and getright allso (i suppose) don't work for certain ftp's (like the one I use). I can connect for a fraction of a second, get the filesize, and then I get the message "error occured" while everything is correct (user/pass; not hammering; ...)

Thanks anyway.
