Get page count of Lotus Notes attachment

I need a column that displays the page count for the first attachment in a lotus notes email. It can be a formula of other type of script like VB.
Better yet would be code that would write out all page counts for a folder in Lotus notes.

It cannot be done in Notes, at least not without quite some programming. In a view column, you can only display more or less fixed elements from a document. So you'd have to write an agent that is triggered when new mail arrives. The agent should save the document on disk, and use the COM interface to Word to find out how many pages there are. That number can then be stored in the document, for later use in the view.
