ArcServe Tape Engine Stops

We are running Brightstor ArcServe Backup Version 9.0 on a Windows 2003 Server and the Tape Engine shutsdown periodically which has prevented my weekend backups from running. I get an Error in Event Viewer Event ID: 7034 Description The Brightstor AB Tape Engine service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 8 Times. Source is Service Control Manager. Any Ideas?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you run any of the database maintenance utilities. This is off of the CA support site:

These don't always fix the problem. I had some db corruption that I had to fix using the instructions on page 5 of this document. It says it's for version 6.61 and 7.0 but I used it on V11 and fixed the corruption.
