i8042prt driver?

I'm getting the error below on a machine.  I don't have any ps2 devices no the machine.  Is this something I should try and correct?  If so, how?

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
i8042prt

Try disabling the driver in the device manager.

if u want to operate with no keyboard or mouse attached (ps2 mouse/keyb) then u can do the following:
(this also works if u operate with a switchbox to switch pc's or if you just get the error and want to get rid of it)

step 1: click on start > open file  (dunno if its open file or run file)(i have dutch os)

Step 1: Backup your Registry (optional step)

Step 2: Open the key  [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\i8042prt\Parameters]

Step 3: Change the value Headless data to 0x1

So this isn't causing any problems on the pc?  Is it just giving the error because I have no ps2 device attached?
