Exchang Server 2003

I know that my Active Directory FQDN works w/Exchange. But I installed Exchange on my AD network. It is LeviDaily.local. Does my FQDN in Active Directory need to be levidaily.com? Or how do I change that in Exchange Sys Manager?  Because my emails are going to go to @levidaily.local. Right? Please help thanks
