I've just asked some questions about windows 2003 and dhcp, i wanted to authenticate computers by mac-adress so you guys gave me the answer that this is nog possible wiht windows 2003 but can be done different.
I can do this by classes as you gave me the folloing link:

Now i have a few questions regarding identify by classes:

When a computer is plugged in, it gets a id adres from the 2003 server, after that it get's a IP from windows 2003. How does windows 2003 recongnises that computer? On what points is the ID adressed to that computer (mac, packet level etc etc)

Can i plugin linux of mac computers and also get an ID by the windows 2003 dhcp server ?

Now what exactly do you mean by "authenticate computers by mac-adress"? If you only want to hand out IP addresses to MACs you specify, this can of course be done.
Create reservations for the MAC addresses you want to get an address, then exclude the rest of the scope. No more stra addresses.
