ASP - Email Problem

How can I pass a value to another ASP program (see url below).   How would pass a value to the orderstatus.asp program?  

xmlhttp.send url = "http://test/sendemails/orderstatus.asp
set xmlhttp = server.CreateObject("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP")
xmlhttp.open "POST", url, false
xmlhttp.setRequestHeader "Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"

send the value in a query string and in orderstatus.asp read the value from query string for use.
