I have many servers that require frequent termserv sessions.
each session will require a different password.
I can create an RDP file for a particular server and store the password in it but...
It is encrypted (that is a good thing)

I would like to dynamically write rdp files that include the password for logging into the session...

Can I write a rdp file or make a MSTSC connection while using a plaintext password?
I have a couple hundred passwords that we currently have to look on in a db and then enter in...
I want a script to do it all for me and the plaintext password part is the only thing stopping me now

Sure... it's all programable... there's a full API for terminal services or you can do it in Active X.  Here are the goods on password protocols:  http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/wcerdp/html/cerefIMsTscNonScriptableInterface.asp

thanks... I think it will work  but I may need to ask a few questions in the programming topic areas to get it to work.
