How to install Asante 590 10/100 BaseT PCI Card The CD that came with it seems to be a diagnostic program and not an install one ?

...surprised it's not on the cd .... maybe instructions are in a readme file or txt file on cd  with a zip file as in the above.

And if you've never tried it, download and run ....http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html  ..Everest Home Edition ... it's freeware and gives you a rundown on what's on your machine.  If windows recognizes your hardware,  Everest will describe it and often provide links to updated drivers, etc.
