I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Register in the Registry ?

.Net assemblies don't need to register. They need to be placed in the GAC (but they need to be strongly typed) or you can place them into the same folder as the application that is using it.

Hi minirachelme,
have a look on MSDN here, there are two way you can go about this....

Manually Registering an Assembly
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpcondynamicallyregisteringassembly.asp

to manually register your assembly you will need to use the .NET Services Installation Tool (Regsvcs.exe) you can find out more information about it here
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cptools/html/cpgrfNETServicesInstallationUtilityRegSvcsexe.asp

Dynamically Registering an Assembly
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpcondynamicallyregisteringassembly.asp

THanks
