I am having a network log issue,

I checked this description on my network log files.....

wuauclt (2640) The database engine stopped.

EvenID: 101

Source: Esent

This error is being generated by executing a query to load a file into a database.... and i may be due to a network issue between the client and the server....how do i resolve this...

That file is part of Windows Update:

What you may be seeing is just that program finishing looking for updates from a local SUS server or the Microsoft ones.

What type of issues are you seeing as a result of this?

then is there a way to check the network logs in my computer...or is it that  error of executing a query has nothing to do with the network log...

What network logs?  That is just Automatic Updates starting up to check for updates and then stopping when it is finished.  I used to have this error all the time on my system but it went away and I'm not 100% sure why.  It stopped after Sp2 I believe.  Have you loaded Service Pack 2 for XP yet?
