I have 2 datacombo boxes which hold data from different tables but the information is link for example in table “service” I got a customer_id   from customer’s table. Now If chose a Value from DataCombo1 I would like the other DataCombo Box to change according shown Value. I’m trying to use only code I rather not use ado controls.

Also if you go here :

http://www.vb-helper.com/index_controls.html

scroll down until you get to the section with regards to the datacombo, it has examples there :)

http://www.vb-helper.com/howto_dbcombo_bound.html

If those dont help you then the only other thing I can think of is that you would have to loop through and search the 2nd table using code to find the value you require and then select the value from the 2nd data combo using the value you found :)

If this is not answered within the next few days then I will get an example for you, right now it is 1am and I have to get on a plane tommorow. So hopefully this will get you started :)
