How can I make an html page to get auto-refresh and at the same time provide the end-user to input the required interval.

For example, if user doesn't provide any interval the page will auto-refresh every 60 seconds but if user enters any
other value like 30 sec. then the page refresh accordingly.

This page might have small form to take user input.

Just put the value in a cookie or the argument string of the page. Then a little scripting can pick up the value from either of those spots.

Isn't it possible to ask user to input time interval then store that value in a variable for auto-refresh till the time user
chnage the last interval.

If you did that the user would have to keep entering value after every refresh, because the refresh would destroy the vlaue in the variable.
